Lucy is a beautiful 1-year-old mini Heeler with a tender heart and a gentle soul. She’s fully house-trained, great in a crate, and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and respectful older kids. People, however, are still a bit scary for her, at least at first.

She’s not fear-reactive and won’t lash out when frightened, but she does shrink away and stay still when approached. Lucy is the kind of dog who needs time, patience, and a little help building her confidence through continued socialization. Once she begins to trust, you’ll see her true personality emerge, quietly sweet and soft.
