Hi, I'm Moose, named after The Lost Moose Campground where my second chance began.

I won’t go into all the details of my past (a pup's gotta keep a little mystery), but let’s just say I was scared, hungry, and alone when I wandered out of the woods looking for my people. They weren’t where I thought they’d be… because, truthfully, they’d left me behind.

But don’t worry, this isn’t a sad story. It’s a hopeful one. I found my way to a campground full of people, where I met some kind souls (including tiny humans I adored) who gave me food, comfort, and a soft spot to rest my head. They named me Moose and helped connect me with the amazing folks at Freddie B’s Furry Friends Rescue. Thanks to them, and my new foster mom, I’m finally safe, learning the ropes of indoor life, and waiting for a forever family.

I’m what you’d call a “big ol’ potato,” silly, smart, and incredibly sweet. I love truck rides, snuggling on the couch, and being near my people. I get along great with kids and other pets. Cats confuse me a little when they move fast, but I’m learning! I’m working on crate training (it’s new to me), and I’ll be honest… I don’t love being alone. It’s something I’m working on with patience, routine, and snacks (I’m very food motivated!).

I may have howled my heart out when I first arrived (hey, I had a lot to say), but I’m settling in and showing my calm, gentle nature. I’m smart, loyal, and ready to share my love with a family who’ll never leave me behind.

Could you be the home I’ve been searching for?
